Wheat and sugar prices suffered set back on the grain market on Wednesday as most the commodities did not move either way in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat Mexipak old lost Rs 35 to Rs 1190 and the new type followed suit and shed Rs 30 amid low activity, they added. Sugar prices also tended lower on comparatively better supply position, shedding Rs 35 to Rs 2480-2525, dealers said.

On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag low type gained rupees five to Rs 435 and the best type maintained its overnight level , they added.
